Dripping with cosmic crystals and dipped in stardust sparkles, this galaxy-chic choker set is probably one of my favs yet! You can’t go wrong with anything slightly mystic – moon and stars are icons that I don’t think will ever go out of style! Slightly Stevie Nicks gypsy meets Space Oddity in vibe, it’s a great update to a simple choker.

We all need shortcuts sometimes – if you’re a jewelry designer or beader, you know that most projects take hella time. For those instances where we don’t have hours to create a project, I like starting with bases and embellishing. Start with a plain rhinestone choker base (find it here!) and decorate with charms, dripping chain and more crystals. I used 4mm jump rings to add delicate cable chain and star drops down the whole length of the choker. Cut shorter pieces of chain and add randomly into the piece, but it helps to keep the look a bit asymmetrical, for an edgier vibe. Create the matching earring stud with another moon charm, beaded links and Swarovski drop. The front/back effect is super trendy right now – to create decoration on the back of an earring, simply use the butterfly back and attach another 4mm jumpring in the loop. Then, add your charm decoration. DIY studs are a cool update to normal drop earrings – simply look for the bases at your local craft store, or find them online here!

If cosmic is not really your mood, use different charms or crystals for multiple looks! Spikes would of course look great, or even or go with faceted briolettes for a dripping icicle look.
