JEWELRY/PHOTOGRAPHY: QUIET LION CREATIONS
The free-spirited flow of silken fabric matches an easy, breezy summertime afternoon…….and while yellow isn’t really my go-to color, it’s the perfect marigold hue for this mood.
Mixing recycled fabric with coins, crystals, wooden beads and chain provides mixed-media artsy goodness, allowing the pieces to be mixed and matched for an eclectic look.
I found that little longhorn below at the flea market - after a nice spray of black lacquer and a gluing of Swarovski crystals, it’s a great centerpiece for that dreamcatcher. If you’re ever looking for weird trinkets to use in craft projects, I suggest flea markets. Honestly, you really never know what you can find! (Post on an Egyptian cat statue coming soon…..)
And as if we haven’t seen them enough this season, the embellished bandana is quite possibly the hottest thing to come out of Coachella. I’m aboard this trend - I add safety pins, chain and crystals to mine for a bit on an edgy vibe, of course.

clever curiosities, shiny sparklies, delightful discoveries, overall good vibes.
