It’s all about asymmetry with my newest men’s pieces. With the help of some eclectic amulets, Arabic coins, stone tusks and Swarovski crystal accents, the look stays mismatched in all the best ways. Antiqued multi-metals add rusticity for that earthy, world-traveler vibe.
As usual, pile on the layers by mixing short and long pieces – keep the colorways similar (as seen on Ryan below) for cohesiveness.
If you’d like to create your own necklace in this style – it’s simple! Create anywhere from 5 to 10 beaded links with eye pins and various gemstone rounds. I love faceted rounds, which give a subtle shine that’s super chic! Link those together. Add chunky chain to one side measuring about 18″.
With a smaller cable chain, cut two approx. 24″ pieces, and string on a large pendant (similar to my Arabic coin or buddha amulet) – Attach one side of the chains to the bottom of your beaded link strand.
Add a clasp to the open end of the doubled chain – add a jumpring to the end of the chunky chain to close.
If desired, add charms or chain dangles to the beaded strand with jump rings. .
