2020 has brought us many things these past months, including the hit Netflix show Tiger King. I’d say this shoot was less Joe Exotic and more Exotic Chic, where a rugged backdrop meets silk, sparkling jewels and sleek sophistication. Crystals in the wild, celestial sparkles in the sunlight and the added edge of a moto jacket pair together perfectly for any summer night.
I used a mix of hardware-inspired chains, locks and clasps for Karlee’s look, and went with daintier, more feminine layers for Gracie. Playing with asymmetry is always a favorite technique – who said charm necklaces had to be perfectly balanced? Mix lariats, chokers, mid-length necklaces and drops for the perfect *slightly subtle* statement.
